Tourists of
all ages wanting an understanding of Africa’s web of life and to gain a greater
appreciation for conservation, or adventurous spirits looking for a holiday
with a difference, will return to the “real world” with a different outlook on
life after attending one of EcoTraining’s courses. The wilderness areas of this
vast continent come alive and the environment is discovered in an exciting,
in-depth and sensitive way.
Today’s
tourist is a thinking traveller with a conscience and, although for a variety of different personal
reasons, each one ultimately has the same goal – to have fun while gaining a
better understanding for all things wild and wonderful, and also to make their
own contributions, however small, to the conservation of the natural world.
Therefore, book your place on the
upcoming 14 Day EcoQuest course, 26
August – 8 September at our wilderness camp in Mashatu, Botswana. And
get exposed to subjects like ecology, tracks and tracking, animal behaviour,
astronomy, orientation
and navigation and general bush skills.
If you
are an adventurous spirit wanting to gain a greater understanding of nature and
the environment whilst experiencing the excitement of the bush, then EcoQuest
is for you. Or if you are a student testing the waters for a career in this
field, join this one. And on top of it all, we’ll show you how to drive a 4x4
vehicle, to identify birds, plants, trees and tracks.
